I don’t believe in big sweeping changes-it’s just too much for most of us to stick with over time. You know how it is…you join a gym, work out really hard the first few weeks only to find yourself exhausted and aching and miserable, so you quit going. Or you go on a strict diet, feel so hungry and deprived that at your first weak moment you binge, feel tremendous guilt and then convince yourself you just can’t stick with anything.
The truth is: you’ll get more long-term results if you take baby steps toward good health. Eat a little better, move a little more, calm your mind, rest your body. It only takes a few minor changes to your routine each day and before you know it, wow, you’ve got more energy, a better attitude and possibly a slimmer waistline.
